REIKI TRAINING

I teach Traditional Usui Reiki, as passed down from the lineage of Dr. Mikao Usui. Reiki is a Japanese Healing modality used for stress reduction, and relaxation that also promotes physical, emotional, and mental healing. Reiki is administered by “laying on hands” although it can be administered without any physical touch-even by distance. Reiki is based on the philosophy that an unseen Universal Life Force Energy flows through us all, causing us to be alive. When one’s life force energy is low, then then we are more likely to be ill or feel stressed. When it is high, then we are more capable of being happy, balanced, and healthy. I have been working with Reiki since 2012 under Reiki Master Teacher Lorraine Meyer who has been her teacher and mentor for all 3 levels of Usui Reiki.

In the Reiki level 1 training, students will learn how to work with their own energy and do self-healing. This is the first step in working with energy. One must first be their own healer, before working with anyone else. Students will have a solid foundation of traditional Usui Reiki including lineage, ethics, the Chakra System, and learn to give a full Reiki treatment to themselves and each other. This course includes the level 1 attunement and certificate and is typically 6 hours.

Reiki level 2 training is the practitioner level. This training is for students who wish to deepen their knowledge in energy work and administer Reiki to others. Students will learn the traditional Usui Sacred symbols, distance healing techniques, tools for developing their own practice, how to start their own Reiki circles, Ethics in being a practitioner, and how to give full Reiki treatments. This course includes the level 2 attunement, certificate and is typically 6 hours.
